Planes, slaps and sex

From problem passengers to sexual affairs with the flight crew, these cabin attendant blogs tell it all.

Garnering more than a million hits since its first post in August 2006, popular blog SIA Cabin Crew Stories is not the only online source for Netizens to read about the glamorous, the scandalous and the ugly of life as a member of the flight crew with Singapore's national carrier. In the last few months, a handful of other such 'stewardess blogs' have started appearing in the blogosphere, much to the delight of curious readers. What's more, most of these cabin crew bloggers are not shy at all when it comes to dishing out the details.

Stories about difficult passengers, problem co-workers and tales of stewardesses and their wild sexual antics with the captain are just some of the many posts on the blogs of both current and ex-flight cabin crew found on the Internet.

'Ex-stewardess' and blogger Beh, who declines to name the airline she used to work with, posted several accounts of her sexual exploits with different men during the course of her career. Among the more notable ones are those detailing her affair with a "dashing and handsome" captain who was already married. According to Beh's posts, the pair had sex several times during a stopover in Los Angeles and she even had a threesome with the captain and his friend.

How difficult is it for one to sleep with a stewardess' Not very, according to 'ex-SIA steward' Boh Tong, who runs SIA Cabin Crew Stories. One must be a senior male crew to qualify for this perk, although junior male crew still somewhat stand a chance. Admitting that he was 'speaking from past experience', Boh Tong reasons that staying at hotels during stopovers is conducive and convenient for crew to engage in sexual affairs, and it does not matter whether the man is married or not.

Indeed it seems as if affairs between stewardesses and pilots are not uncommon. 'SIA stewardess' Gloria wrote on her blog that she had broken up with her Japanese boyfriend and is now having an affair with a pilot who was already married. Her lover's wife is an ex-stewardess.

Aside from writing sometimes very detailed accounts about their love affairs and sex lives, the bloggers are also very vocal when it comes to writing about difficult passengers. Gloria called a group of delegates travelling to China 'thoughtless and greedy', complaining that the Business Class passengers pressed the call button repeatedly and ordered bar drinks 'like there is going to be no tomorrow'.

Boh Tong recalled an incident during a flight to Japan when a cabin crew accidentally spilled a drink onto a Japanese passenger's shirt. The passenger then demanded that SIA compensate him for the soiled shirt with 10,000 yen ($130) notes stacked to his height, in addition to a Boeing 747 aircraft.

Readers too, have written in to share their experiences with the bloggers. Sue, who claims to be a stewardess, had her story featured on Boh Tong's blog. She wrote about a male passenger seated in Economy Class who demanded special treatment because he was a member of the Solitaire PPS Club, a privileged loyalty card program with SIA.

The passenger had requested for a copy of a newspaper, which Sue was unable to provide as there is a shortage. Ignoring Sue's offers to fulfil his request later, the old Chinese man flashed his Solitaire PPS card at Sue and told her to "take this to Business Class" and get the newspaper. When Sue returned to him telling that there were no extra copies, the passenger then took his card, marched into the next cabin and helped himself to the newspapers meant for other passengers.

If these 'horror stories' are still insufficient to deter cabin attendant hopefuls from trying their luck at the interviews, bright-eyed wannabes can still find plenty of tips online. Luke SS Tan, an 'ex-cabin crew training and check executive' with SIA holds talks on a regular basis to help aspiring stewards and stewardesses pass the interviews. Because his talks have gained popularity online, SS Tan had also started to offer a PDF 'Programme' version of his tips at $30 a pop.

For those with a limited budget, they can read ;new SIA stewardess' SG Girl's accounts of all the selection rounds conducted by the airline. But even this new recruit seems somewhat disillusioned by the demanding duties of a flight attendant. In a post about a typical work day, the normally enthusiastic newcomer writes that her 'heart sinks' when she learns that the flight will be full and she envisions the rigors of work ahead of her, "but the day hasn't even begun."

Not surprising, I've heard a lot of ugly stories about stewardess sleeping with rich businessmen and in return they can expensive accessories.

I am a frequent flyer with SIA but not a rich businessman but I get to sleep with few Stewardess I met during the flight.. I get to hear much more juicy real life story about SIA cabin crews. Do you believe that Steward & Stewardess have sex in aircraft toilet? Crew kiss each other openly while playing True and Dare?

Stewardess are easy target as they are lonely and need the attention and 3Cs from guys. I have treated them well and have been very well rewarded..

Well. it's not something new that stewardess sleep around with passengers but whether there are relationship between the steward and stewardess are their own personal life.

I think they are more interested in " well-rewarded " rather than loneliness.

My personal view is that there are different motives for Stewardesses who sleep around. But I think those who are smart enough will not want a relationship with a Steward. These male cabin crews' career are stuck with their high class waiter life. Majority of them do not have a bright future in-front of them. Be it pilot or senior steward, they cannot give security to their partner as they are also sleeping around with their colleagues whenever they are out of their base (Singapore). Safer sex then prostitute and it is free, why not. So, I would say that the relationship the Stewardess are looking for with a Steward, mostly are just a Sex buddy whenever they are overseas.. If I can remember, some Stewardess are married with kids butt they need companion and sex when they are out of Singapore.

Isn't it stupid to have a relationship with someone who is in a industry that is always sexual temptation? That is why, in my own opinion, I will not have Stewardess as my gf or wife but they are just simply my F*** buddy.

hahaha...... don't be so pessimitic, not all stewardess love to sleep around.

You want to be safe but then there are others non-stewardess also volunteer to sleep around in exchange for designer goods.

It actually a kind of trade off. Men are willing to fought out money and Girls are willing to sleep with them.

You should have heard of those stewardess aiming for business or first class passengers.?

Hi Lady,

You are right to a certain extend (SIA girls sleeps with pilot, stewards, passengers as they will select the kind of AIR-MEAL they would like)... so sad for their parents, husbands, kids... Some stewardess (not so pretty ones) are so desperate that they make advances to their male colleagues so obvious infront of their other colleagues that they said that she is like a desperate hooker who needed sex badly...

This kind of "Industrial Hazard" doesn't only refers to SIA girls but also in any other kind of industry. The only thing is that these Cabin Crews have more autonomy when they are abroad and things happened in their hotel catered by SIA. One of a typical example is Mess Drinking Session, normally held in one of the guy's room. Most of the crews will attend such mess drinking gathering as they do not want to be left out. It is everyone's choice of their life. This is still happening despite the SIA management warned the cabin crews of the risk after drinking by their circular through their staff website. This always give steward and stewardess chance an excuse to have sex "innocently".

There was a recent rape case where the version I heard from one of the stewardess is that they had group drinking session and it was the girl who seduce the guy... Who should be blamed? I think SIA managment method of educating their staff is not effective and they might have to impose a more serious punishment or measures to eliminate any kind of opportunity for these shameless people... Lessons should be conducted to all Cabin Crew on how to behave themselve and especially the senior ones. It seems like there are more sex pervert amoong the senior cabin crews.

These cabin crews will some how ruin their Company's image if all those juicy real life stories are reported by the Press.

Btw.. Wish u a Very Happy Christmas!

I've heard one case long time ago that a stewardess willing to sleep with an Arab for quite an attractive sum a night but then instead she was rape by 10 of them that very night. But I think this is an isolated case, she is probably too greedy.

Those who agree to attend to the drinking sessions knew very well what's the consequences if they got drunk . These stewardess can't blame others but themselves for their own behaviour.

Happy Christmas to u-- Singaporeguy 1975
